I’ve been a small business owner for 18 years. Many of my tax clients are small business owners. I believe that having equity, ownership or “skin in the game” not only motivates you to put your best into everything you do, but it can also provide the means to feel financially free.
Financially free, to me, is having enough income to cover your expenses while still being able to do the things you want to do.
My question for you, if you are a small business owner, (or want to be but aren’t really sure where to start):
What are your pain points?
What processes need improvement?
What areas would it be beneficial to have more education?
What does your accounting process look like?
Do you know how best to structure your business for legal and tax purposes?
Do you know how to read your financial statements?
Do you know how much you should be saving for retirement?
These are all important issues when you are a small business owner. Where do you turn for help? The tax and business world can be confusing and overwhelming, especially for those just starting out.
If you have questions regarding your small business and taxes, I would love the opportunity to consult with you. I offer 1:1 advisory sessions via zoom that can be scheduled online here.
We can cover a lot in 30 minutes, and I can make introductions to other professionals after our meeting if you are in need of legal or investment related guidance. Every person who has booked an advisory session with me has left feeling more confident in their business and better equipped to make tax related decisions.
If an advisory session isn’t in your budget right now, feel free to check out my YouTube channel for free educational content, and my library of low cost educational resources to help you understand specific areas of the tax code that apply to you.
