Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Tax Advisory Practice


Job Description: I am seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant/Office Manager to provide crucial behind-the-scenes support for my Tax Advisory and Preparation Practice. The ideal candidate will excel at multitasking and possess strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  1. Create fillable PDF documents for client use.

  2. Develop and maintain Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel documents.

  3. Source and upload images for blog posts, as well as create additional visual materials.

  4. Conduct research on tax-related topics and compile findings.

  5. Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.

  6. Provide exceptional customer service and reception duties.

  7. Coordinate travel arrangements.

  8. Assist in project management tasks as needed.

  9. Manage calendars and Tidycal bookings efficiently.

  10. Generate engaging social media posts to promote services.

  11. Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients and internal meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in creating fillable PDF documents.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite (Sheets, Docs), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  • Excellent research skills.

  • Ability to manage email correspondence effectively.

  • Previous experience in customer service or reception roles preferred.

  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Experience with travel arrangement coordination.

  • Familiarity with project management principles.

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and content creation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a tax or financial services environment.

Currently this position would be theee days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in my new Oregon City office located near the top of the elevator in Oregon City) but could easily work into full time in the future, especially during tax season.
